Swimming Lessons

Okay, so we aren't quite Michael Phelps yet but we are getting there. We can't believe how much Ethan has improved since last year. He has been taking lessons since he was three. He can float, freestyle, backstroke, dive and I saw him do some froggy stroke (I don't name the correct name). Thanks, Steph and Kirsten!!

So this is Sam's second year in swim lessons. He takes awhile to warm up and get some confidence. He did not like going into the "deep." He would try so hard to float but would sink every time. I told Kirsten that muscle weighs more than fat! Sam would get his arms going and forget about kicking his feet or vice versa. It's hard to think of two things at once!!

Ava's Pool Party

We had a ladybug birthday party at the pool. I have lots of pics of people eating but I don't have any of the pool??? Good thing the party was at the pool after eating these cupcakes. We had the kids take another swim to dissolve some of the frosting!

We had lots of pizza and Dad made snow cones. Way to suck it in!!

Ava turns 2!!!

How does this happen? Two years gone in a flash. I don't know if it is because she is my last but I have mix feelings about the milestones she makes. She has truly been a "gift." Ava, is definitely the princess in the family. The boys, including her father, give her everything her heart desires.
*Ava turning two*

*Ava turning one*

*Ava one week old*

Ava's dislikes:
*not getting her own way
*sharing with others
*green beans
*nap time
*riding in her stroller
*getting her hair done
Ava's favorite things:
*her blanket (has to have ties)
*baby dolls, baby dolls, baby dolls!!!!
*swing
*her dog Boog
*her bros
*music
*shoes
She can jump, sing, dance, run and her vocabulary expands daily. Although, she has had her own vocabulary for awhile now.

A Day at the Zoo

My mom and I decided it would be fun to take the kids to the zoo. Bree and her four girls went with us. I love spending time with my neices because I don't get to see them as often as I would like too. We were worried about the weather because it was suppose to rain but it ended up being such a beautiful day.

So we tried to get a picture of the cousins together!! Yeah right! This picture says a thousand words:) Bree took a picture of just her girls and they smiled and looked so good. Take a good look at the picture of my three!!

Stephanie and the kids met us at the zoo. She happened to be in Salt Lake during the same weekend. Our kids were excited to see each other! What a crew!

Check out my handsome pairie dogs!

Check out this beautiful tiger and check out my son Sam climbing the fence into the same cage!!!

The kids had a great time at the play park inside the zoo. Ava looks like she is as fond of spiders as I am:) Yikes!!!

Caught in a Web!! Sam rested, Ethan and Ashlynn climbed and Ava is stuck!

Welcome Devyn

We welcomed our new cousin Devyn into the world!! My Uncle Michael and Liz had a beautiful baby girl. We went up to Centerfield to meet her. What a sweetie!

Celebrating the Last Day of School

The last day of school Shemri (Jake's mom)and I took the kids to McDonalds to celebrate. After lunch we headed over to the new splash park in town.
